2006 10:02 Thursday Economic News USD Several positive signals for the USD have been released in the past two days. yesterday A much stronger than expected ADP employment figure caught the market by surprise. The 158k rise in private payrolls together with a strong ISM report and the Hudson employment index which rose to its strongest level since April suggest that the US economy is not as weak as the world feared. Given recent strength a further stream of profit-taking is to be expected as the market sets itself for a flow of indicators coming from the US market in the next two days. The most important figure coming out from the US markets today is the initial jobless claims.
