The chairman of the association Joram Ssozi said this during the launch at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel. “The association brings together dealers in foreign exchange and money markets in 14 commercial banks. We want the dealers to strictly follow a code of conduct” Ssozi said. “riginally the association was viewed as a pressure group by stakeholders but it is gratifying to know that the Association of Bankers has okayed its objectives as a means of adding value to their services” he said.
