The ringgit, which peaked at a 10-year high against the US dollar on Feb 15, has been on an upward trajectory for the past fortnight, buoyed by positive economic data for the Malaysian economy and continuing weakness of the US dollar. The greenback dropped to its lowest level in almost three years versus the yen and a record low against the euro on fears of more Fed rate cuts and growing signs of a weakening U.
